Miracle Ear Hearing Aids
Established by a retired Army Air Corps pilot who had been shot down three times and was in a POW camp when World War II ended, Ken Dahlberg, Miracle-Ear started with the development of a pillow radio for a hospital patient's private listening.
In collaboration with a team of scientists, Ken put a transistor in hearing aids to make them smaller, creating the first completely-in-ear (CIC) device in 1955. Since that time, Miracle Ear has collaborated with advanced hearing aid manufacturers like Signia, which produces their current devices, in order to provide their patients with a selection of devices that meet their unique hearing care needs.
