Temporary Suspension In-Person Appointments [COVID-19]

03/25/2020 | Patient Resources

Following the recent ‘Stay Home’ request by Governor Brown, the decision has been made to temporarily suspend in-person appointments until April 13th to help flatten the curve of the spread in our community.

As patients are family, please know that we continue to be here for you with the introduction of new remote ways to support and help you through this challenging time.

This is through the introduction of a three-part remote process.

#1 – ‘Hearing Health Hotline’

During these difficult times, if you need any help, have a question or would like to speak to a hearing professional, then our hotline continues to be open. This line accepts text messages.

The hotline is available 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday at (541) 612-755

#2 – Tele-Health Appointments

If you have an upcoming appointment, you will receive a call from our team over the coming days to either reschedule your appointment or change to a ‘Telehealth’ appointment.

A ‘Telehealth’ appointment is for when face-to-face meetings are not possible. This may be a phone call or video session with our audiologist.

Depending on your level of hearing technology, your hearing devices may be able to be remotely adjusted by your professional during your appointment.

We are unable to provide diagnostic evaluations through Telehealth, if you have a sudden change in hearing, please contact our office immediately at (541) 612-7555.

#3 – Drop-Off/Curb-Side

A locked ‘drop box’ for your hearing aids that require attention or repair is being installed outside of our office.

If your devices need attention, please call our hotline before visiting us to schedule a drop-off time and repair turnaround times based on circumstances and devices.

Curb side service is still available, but please call prior to visiting. We will also begin offering drive up video appointments with our audiologist for those patients that do not have access at home to telehealth/video technologies. Please call 541-612-7555 for more information

We are here for you during these difficult times and please know that our hotline is available no matter what you need.

You are our family, please treat us as yours.

Do you know somebody that needs to see this? Why not share it?
