Re-Introducing In-Person Appointments [Announcement]

04/26/2020 | Patient Resources

With Governor Brown announcing a lift of restrictions for non-urgent and elective healthcare visits providing the clinic has adequate PPE and infection control policies, Audiology & Hearing Aid Associates will be re-introducing in-person appointments starting May 1st.

This will begin by rescheduling essential appointments from the backlog and pending referrals, to ensure that patients across La Grande get the hearing healthcare that they need.

During this period, we have strict protocols and processes in place, they are as follows:

#1 – Heightened Sanitation Protocols

Between appointments, additional time has been scheduled to thoroughly clean all surfaces and ensure each patient is entering a sanitized

This includes all surfaces from door handles, chairs and any equipment using Cavicide or other CDC approved hospital-grade disinfectant.

#2 – Hand Washing on Arrival

All patients must wash their hands upon arrival upon entering our office as clearly marked on the office door. A hand washing and masking station are made available upon entering the clinic. Masks will be required to be worn throughout the duration of your visit.

#3 – Pre-Appointment Screening

In the same way that our team’s health is being monitored daily through temperature checks and routine hand sanitation, you are kindly asked to reschedule your appointment if you have had a fever or cough in the past 14 days.

#4 – Disposable Gloves & Face Masks

To protect you, our team are using disposable gloves and PPE-approved face masks for appointments to give you peace of mind and ensure your health is the overall priority.

#5 – Minimum Company for Appointments

You’re kindly asked to bring a maximum of one person with you for your appointment, and ideally visit alone if possible.

#6 – The Waiting Room Remains Closed

With extra space between appointments, you’re encouraged to call 541-612-7555 or ring the doorbell at the elevator located in the parking lot upon arrival. When the clinic and provider are ready they will notify you to come in.

All appointments are currently by schedule only.

Please do not walk-in or come without an appointment as we will, unfortunately, have to turn you away to protect scheduled patients.

If you have a question, need help or would like to schedule your appointment, then please call (541) 612-7555

We look forward to seeing you again soon.
