The Health And Safety Precautions We’re Adopting In Our Clinic

06/23/2021 | News, Patient Resources

With a seven-day running average of 17,498 doses of the vaccine a day, Oregon is well in line for the vaccination target.

While we are heading in the right direction, this is by no means the end of coronavirus and it is essential that we remain vigilant.

With the rise of new cases, we’re taking all the precautions necessary to ensure the safety of our patients is prioritized.

#1 – What Should I Do Upon Arrival?

Once you have parked up, please call or text us at 541-612-7555 so that we know you have arrived.

If you don’t have a phone, no problem. Just ring the doorbell located at the elevator in the parking lot. A member of our team will come out to your car to check you in and get your refreshment order.

We will bring you up to your room as soon as it is ready. Then, we will run through our health screening and get a temperature check.

#2 – Our In-Office Safety Precautions

If you have been vaccinated against COVID and are able to demonstrate proof of vaccination, you will not be required to wear a mask. However, you will still be offered hand sanitizer upon entry.

If you are not vaccinated or do not have proof of vaccination, you will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your appointment. We continue to offer masks to any that would like one should you forget yours.

During flu season (October to February), you will be asked to wear your mask if you have not received your influenza vaccination.

#3 – In What Circumstances Shall I Reschedule An Appointment?

To keep everyone safe, please be mindful and consider rescheduling an appointment if you are feeling sick or know that you have a contagious illness such as a cold, flu, or coronavirus.

We can always shift your appointment to a telehealth appointment or no contact service appointment. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

#4 – The Extra Steps We’re Taking To Keep You Safe

As per CDC guidelines, which state that masks are still required in a healthcare environment, we are continuing to wear masks. We also continue to perform diligent hand hygiene and clean the rooms thoroughly between patients. Our waiting room has also been converted to a second clinic room that we refer to as our Purple Room.

Each day, we continue to adhere to our daily health checks and stay at home if we are feeling unwell. Fortunately, in the last 18 months, we have been doing such a great job that most of us have not had a cold in the last year and a half.

We have all enjoyed not being sick!

Your Safety Is In The Hands Of Our Experts

While the past year has presented many bumps and turns, our team has refined and revolutionized the way we operate to bring you a range of safe and secure options for accessing your hearing healthcare.

The safety of our patients is on the top of priorities, and we are closely following the CDC guidelines to ensure that we are up to date.

If you or a loved one is having trouble with their hearing, but is classed as vulnerable, please let them know that we are following the strictest of health and safety protocols in our clinic.

From the minute you walk through the door to the second you leave, we follow a methodological process that keeps everyone safe. To schedule your appointment, please call us at (541) 612-7555.
