Does Regence BlueCross BlueShield Insurance Cover Hearing Care?

01/21/2021 | Insurance, Patient Resources

Throughout my years as an insurance expert, I have found that no matter where I am and who I’m speaking to, the majority of patients have the same worries. It’s usually broken down into three categories; family, health, and insurance.

Whether it be the most recent patient or the first patient I helped with their insurance, I take great pride in knowing that I can, have, and will always help people in their time of need.

Regardless of status or wealth, it’s almost always the same question… Does my insurance cover this?

We at Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates have served the La Grande Community since 1982, and we continue to help thousands of people throughout the local area.

Our focus has been and always will be ensuring that our patients get the highest level of care available to them and that they are fully aware of what insurance benefits they are entitled to.

To put it simply, your hearing matters to us.

Does Regence BCBS Insurance Cover My Hearing Care?

At Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates, we consider healthy hearing a right rather than a privilege. We believe that healthy hearing plays an essential part in a person’s ability to live a happy and successful life.

We understand that it might be inconvenient for you to contact your insurance provider during the global crisis and request information regarding your care plan. However, our goal at AHAA is to remove that hassle altogether.

Thanks to our exclusive partnership with Regence BlueCross BlueShield, we can contact the insurance company on your behalf and provide you with all the information you requested. Alongside this, our specialist employees are available to answer any questions that you might have.

Regence BCBS has many different coverage options depending on your plan offerings through your employer or selections on the exchange.

Will I Be Covered For Hearing Aids?

Unfortunately, patients aren’t typically covered for hearing aids by Regence through the Affordable Health Care Act. As a result, patients with minimal coverage packages would not be covered for audiology related services.

However, in Oregon, many employers believe that healthy hearing is essential to creating a strong and healthy workforce. As a result, many employers in the state provide hearing aid coverage through their health care packages.
