Having been rooted in the La Grande community for 38 years and having cared for thousands of patients, multiple generations of families, and a mix of ages, Audiology & Hearing Aid Associates are the hearing specialists that your friends, co-workers, and loved ones have turned to for nearly four decades.
Through our years of experience, we have developed a unique patient journey that we are passionate about, being able to keep delivering to our patients during times of uncertainty like we find ourselves in at the moment.
We are thankful for Governor Brown’s most recent announcement, confirming a lift on restrictions for non-urgent and elective healthcare visits provided the establishment has adequate PPE and infection control policies in place. With this in mind, we will be reopening our doors for in-person appointments from May 1.
While we are thrilled to be able to welcome patients back into our clinic, we understand there will be a great deal of you who would rather not enter the premises just yet. We want to ensure that your continuity of care can also continue, therefore we are pleased to be able to offer “drive-in” appointments. With “drive-in” appointments, you pull in to an allocated parking space, give us a call, and one of our team will come out to you and collect your devices from a safe distance. These appointments are ideal for people who need to collect batteries, require repairs to their current devices, or need to collect new ones.
So, How Does it Work?
- We would be really grateful if you could call us at 514-612-7555 to let us know that you require an appointment. This way, we can discuss the best time for your arrival to ensure we don’t end up with a long line outside.
- When you arrive at your specified time, park in the allocated space and contact us at the above number to let us know you are waiting.
- One of the team will come out to collect your devices from a safe distance, meaning you will not need to leave your car. All team members will ensure that they are wearing the correct PPE, including gloves and a mask.
- We will carry out the necessary work within our clinic and then return your devices to you, again from a safe distance. All devices will be professionally cleaned and sanitized before being returned.
For patients who prefer not to wait, we have a “dropbox” for hearing aids, too. Feel free to drop off your devices after letting us know what the problem is, and we can fix the issue and let you know when they are ready for collecting.
It is our number one priority to keep you safe while at the same time, still providing patients with the absolute best care that you are accustomed to and deserve. You’ll be cared for by Erika Shakespeare, CCC-A, and her team. You can rest assured that your hearing health is being cared for by experts.
If you would like to visit for a “Drive-In” appointment, then please call us at 514-612-7555.
For those patients who are unable to leave home at the moment, then please do get in touch. We also offer “Teleaudiology” appointments via video call and can also mail replacement batteries to you if needed.
