Sonic Advanced Technology Solutions
Before the brand was established, Sonic’s researchers had already developed digital signal processing (DSP) technology, which was available in the first instrument produced after the company’s launch.
DSP, included in the Natura computer chip, was an integral part of producing hearing aids that allowed users to distinguish between conversations and background noise using digital, nine-channel processing. This approach to sound processing also enables audiologists to dial in sound reinforcement at half-octave increments, enhancing their capacity to address a broader range of user-specific hearing loss frequencies.
Sonic delivers custom behind-the-ear (BTE), in-the-ear (ITE), in-the-canal (ITC), mini-canal (MC), and completely-in-the-canal (CIC) style hearing instruments, as well as an instant-fit CIC device that is the smallest digital hearing device available on the market.
Using SoundLink Connect, Sonic hearing aid users can provide feedback about their hearing experience and hearing aid performance to their hearing care provider and receive real-time fitting, programming, and adjustment support with leaving their homes or anywhere they happen to be.
